How to identify a fake iPhone

Like any other popular machines , there will be some bastards somewhere in the world selling imitations of the machine . Well , the iPhone 4 is not excluded from this exclusive list of popular fakes .

Since day 1 of the release of the iPhone 4 , the fake iPhone 4 or shall I called it fakePhone 4 had already emerged . They are so cleverly cloned that it was totally impossible to tell a fake one by sight . Yeah . That's good imitation , right ? The above picture is actually a real iPhone and a fake one , can you tell the difference ? I can't !

So , here are 5 sure-fire ways to identify a real iPhone .

1. Test and check the touchscreen , memory space , card slot and battery

The iPhone's touchscreen reachs only to objects that conduct electricity (fingers) . Real iPhones will not work with plastic or metal styluses . All iPhones have only one SIM card slot, and the batteries are not replaceable the user. In other words, you will need to go to an official Apple store if your battery needs to be replaced for some reason. No iPhone has increasable memory – whatever memory capacity you buy it at, that’s it. Period. The text on the back of your iPhone should always list a model number, and IC ID, and the phrase “Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China.” And the most visually obvious sign that an iPhone is fake? If it comes in any other colour except black or white.

2 . Make sure the size is correct

If a guy wants to sell you a iPhone , you should at least get to play with your might-be future toy first rather than just judging the iPhone's authenticity by just looking . Measure the screen with a ruler (hey, better safe than sorry!) from the top corner to the diagonally opposite corner. It should measure exactly 3.5 inches (8.9 centimeters). Anything shorter or longer is a fake .

3. Inspect the serial numbers and icons

When you press the “on” button, a genuine iPhone will display a black background with a silver border and four rows of icons, whereas many fakes will have more icons or a different coloured background. And if you want to be absolutely, one hundred percent certain your iPhone is authentic, go to “Settings,” “General,” then “About.” There should be a serial number listed there, which you can check on Apple’s website (under “Warranty”). If you enter the serial number and it’s not recognized by the site, you know beyond a doubt that it’s fake.

4. Inspect and check back cover and functions

Specific iPhone models have certain additional characteristics to help you determine if they are genuine. So make sure you check the specs on the iPhone model that you want to buy before getting rip off by some dude on the streets .

5. Know the colours that correspond with the memory space

The 3G iphone comes in 8GB (which is only available in black) or 16GB (which is available in black or white) versions. Like the 2G iPhone before it, this version has a two mega pixel camera with a fixed focus lens, but the 3G has MMS message capabilities. However, it still cannot record video. If you find anything else on your 3G, it’s a fake.

You can get the 3GS iPhone in 16GB or 32GB models, both of which only come in black or white. The only physical difference between this iPhone and the previous model is that this one has a “glossy chrome finish” on the backside lettering. The 3GS iPhone has a three mega pixel camera with an auto focus lens, MMS messaging capability, and a built in video camera.

Is your girlfriends always complain that you spend more time on your Wii and not enough with her ? The nagging can now END ! Yes , you heard me people !

Fun or Scary !?

We love amusement parks , right ? From the cotton candy , to the smell of the amusement park's rides starting up whenever we're queuing up beside it . But to most of us , we go there for the adrenaline rush ! and to see the embarrassing and pathetic cries of guys running off a ride that was "too scary" to bear .

Well , we all heard of roller coasters , from the largest that was ever made to the fastest , from the scariest to the most exciting .



Since technology is advance everyday , even amusement park rides are getting more complex to cater the needs of the people who want vomiting , crying , laughing and severe nauseousness all-in-one ! "Ring of Saturn" might just do the trick . It was invented by Thomas Casey . Do enjoy the video .



Although , it is just a working scale model , we can clearly see the future of amusement park rides and future super-sized trash bins full of vomit and tears . And ! the scared faces of guys bringing their dates to the amusement park to show off their macho-ness .

Art of Trash !

In the 21st century , we've already seen many incredible buildings such as The Eiffel Tower , The Louvre and more , some even called them works of art .

But for Don Justo , his cathedral is the most unique in the world because it was entire made up of junk ! Yes , junk as in TRASH !



"Why !?" . When Don Justo was suffering from tuberculosis , he made a promise to build a cathedral if he recovered . Great determination this guy have , right ? 50+ years of determination to be exact ! Most people would be back healthy and not do anything they promised when they were sick , but not for him , Don Justo !



He's built it up to an incredible 131-feet high, and just needs to add a roof and a few windows. Most of his building matter came from salvaged materials and junk, which he built up on his own land over 8,000sq/m with his own two hands . It is really amazing for a guy that has completely no knowledge about architecture !



Don Justo's Cathedral of Trash is a tremendously achievement for human innovation and creativity . Although it is still not finish , it is still one of a kind . It might take another 10 years for him to finish it , so let's hope it will be done as soon as possible as he is already in his 80's . Plus , Justo is also applying a permit for visitors to come and worship in his Cathedral of Trash .

This might sound a bit crazy to you , but in the future , our clothing might just be the missing link in saving the planet from being destroyed due to the overwhelming release of CO2 gases into our atmosphere .

Okay , is it real ? or is it a rumor ? or is it just plain stupid ?



Apparently , this sexy and elegant evening gown is called "Herself" , and its an experiment . It is coated with a special CONCRETE mixture that Catalytic Clothing claims can suck up nitrogen oxide and CO2 from the air .

You might think that a dress coated with concrete would be heavy and brittle , right ? Hopefully they sorted this out already , if not many wedding dinners in the future might turn out quite interesting , if you know what I mean .

Facebook is shutting down ! Permanently !

PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful.

“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”

Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.

“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”

Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.

“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”

Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news.

“What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”

However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief.

“I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”

Those in the financial circuit are criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multibillion dollar franchise. Facebook is currently ranked as one of the wealthiest businesses in the world, with economists estimating its value at around 7.9 billion.

But Zuckerberg remains unruffled by these accusations. He says he will stand by his decision to give Facebook the axe.

“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”

The Facebook Corporation suggests that users remove all of their personal information from the website before March 15th. After that date, all photos, notes, links, and videos will be permanently erased.

Is facebook really going to shutdown on the 15th of March ? or is this a publicity scam ? We might never know @.@

The Dell IPS Touch Monitor features a brilliant 21.5 inch multi-touch monitor equipped with IPS Panel . The monitor has a 1920 x 1080 resolution , great for it touch features , games and of course HD movies . The monitor’s A-frame stand with enables it to tilt the screen forward, backward and even flat which ever position suits the user .

The Dell IPS Touch Monitor is claimed to cost $310 from LogicBuy but when it would be available in stores is still unknown .

First it was the AppStore , Apple has done it again with the release of the Mac App Store .



The Mac App Store has already surpass 1 million apps download since its release only yesterday , an amazing feet to achieve just in one day . The Mac App Store is designed on the lines of the successful Apple iTunes App Store , which made it so popular to Mac users everywhere .



When it should be a happy day for the Apple developers , unfortunately the Mac App Store was also hacked for pirated apps . As we speak , thousands of pirated apps are being downloaded free of charge , good news for Mac users though xD

Tron Inspired Razer Keyboard , Mouse and Mat !

Still can't get enough of Tron Legacy ? Here's your chance to be like them in the movie !



Razer has introduced the Tron Inspired Keyboard , Mouse and Mat .



The keyboard has a detachable modular keypad , lighting effects triggered by in-game actions, and fully programmable keys with macro capabilities . It does not just look cool in the dark , the lights also "rez" in and out when you power up or shut down , talk about sci-fi eh ? The keyboard also includes a jack for audio out and microphone in .



Now about the mouse and the mat . The mouse seriously looks like the light-cycle (or whatever they call it) in the movie . Like the keyboard , it also has bright lights and produce sound effects found in the movie whenever you use it .

The mat is unbelievable , whenever you swipe your mouse across it , a light trail appear behind your mouse , imitating the light-cycle in the movie .

According to HERE , the keyboard cost $150 , quite expensive for a keyboard , but what the heck , it looks damn cooler than any other keyboard in the market , well the mouse and matHERE , cost $129.99 . And claims that it will be available in the forth quarter of 2011 . Still a long time to wait people =(
