Dress to Save the Earth !? Really ?

This might sound a bit crazy to you , but in the future , our clothing might just be the missing link in saving the planet from being destroyed due to the overwhelming release of CO2 gases into our atmosphere .

Okay , is it real ? or is it a rumor ? or is it just plain stupid ?



Apparently , this sexy and elegant evening gown is called "Herself" , and its an experiment . It is coated with a special CONCRETE mixture that Catalytic Clothing claims can suck up nitrogen oxide and CO2 from the air .

You might think that a dress coated with concrete would be heavy and brittle , right ? Hopefully they sorted this out already , if not many wedding dinners in the future might turn out quite interesting , if you know what I mean .

Although this is just a prototype , now we can already have a glimpse of the future of green clothing . One problem to this for me is convincing the people to wear it because girls hate to be seen alive in public with the same dress , right ?
